Dr. Suzi Addley

Clinical Fellow Gynae-Oncology

Dr Addley obtained her undergraduate medical degree (MB BCh BAO – Hons) from Queen’s University, Belfast – being awarded honours.  She was also the recipient of a number of undergraduate academic prizes, including:  the Sinclair Medal (Final MB surgery); Milroy Medal (physiology and biochemistry); Henry Hutchinson Stewart Scholarship (physiology, biochemistry and anatomy); and both the David Russell Lappin and Sullivan Scholarships. 

Dr Addley is currently a senior registrar (Specialist Trainee 6, ST6) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  She gained membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2018; and is also a registered member of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society (BGCS) and British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).

Throughout training to date, Dr Addley has demonstrated a sustained interest in and commitment to gynae-oncology – presenting work at many national and international conferences.  Most recently, she is undertaking a dedicated clinical fellowship in gynae-oncology in Oxford, developing skills in minimal access, open and vulval surgery, as well as completing a formal colposcopy training programme.

Dr Addley is a motivated trainee, with a passion for medical education and teaching.  She has previously fulfilled a role as Honorary Tutor for Queen’s University, Belfast.  Driven by this commitment to learning, Dr Addley became a co-founder of gynaefellow.com and is still the original ‘wee fellow’…!
