This seminar is designed to provide a comprehensive review of the important surgical anatomy of the female pelvis from both a theoretical and a practical perspective. It is designed for senior trainees and consultants who wish to learn surgical anatomy for advanced pelvic surgery. Junior trainees, medical students and all interested colleagues are welcome to attend.
The meeting will be ran online via Zoom. Please follow the link above to book your place. Please ensure you have internet connection to attend. This course is a part of the “GynaeFellow Grand Rounds Initiative”.
The will consist of a balanced mixture of overview presentation and practical demonstrations using images, surgical videos and other teaching aids. Please also note the below –
- You must have a Phone/ MAC / PC with “Zoom” installed
- You must ensure you have a strong and reliable internet connection to allow for video conversation.
On completion of the meeting participants should be able to:
- Visualise the pelvic anatomy in three dimensions.
- Understand the pelvic nerve anatomy.
- Understand the principles of safe surgical dissection.
